This site is dedicated to my family.
I started this site with the original intent of just getting some experience with writing some web pages and getting some experience with HTML.
It has evolved over time to include topics topics I am interested in and passionate about. I use this site on a regular basis either in my database work or in my work building websites.

I recently started the process of moving everything from the older static pages site to the weblog format. I am still in the process of making this move therefore, the reader may encounter some pages or content that looks different and there may be some broken links here and there. I hope to have that all cleaned up within thirty days.

Family
Without my family, much of what I do would not be necessary, and therefore may never have been done. Much of what you find on this site is there in some form or another because of my family. Life in the United States in my lifetime, was shaped by those in my family who came before me. I am indebted to them. I can only hope that I have, or soon will, contribute in some small way to the progress of the future generations of my family and the wonderful country I have the pleasure to live in.
Education is a corner stone of our family. With more than one teacher in the family, and children, nieces and nephews in grade school, middle school, or high school, it seems appropriate to have some topics directly related to education and getting sons, daughters, nieces and nephews through the process.
